We commissioned Australian illustrator Alex Hotchin to create this beautiful hand drawn map of the Great Divide Mountain Bike Route to accompany Eddie Clark's piece "Decade on the Divide" in the third issue of The Bikepacking Journal. It measures an impressive 25cm x 80cm (9.8″ x 31.5″) and depicts several of the most memorable features along the route.

These maps were included with every copy of The Bikepacking Journal 03 when it originally shipped to our members. We've uncovered a few extra copies and thought our newer members might appreciate the chance to have a copy of their own.

Please note, these maps were folded to accommodate flat shipping. The lines are visible, but we think the work is still wall-worthy.

These were printed in Berlin on a high-quality coated 170 g/m2 paper using a Heidelberg Speedmaster offset press.
